UPDATE: You MUST use the same email address for your Google Account that was used to invite you into the Google Group. If not, Google never thinks you’re the same person, even if you use the “Accept Invitation” link! I simply tried using an existing Google Account which used a different email address. OOPS!
Today (April 25th, 2008) we also had our third live tele-seminar, but due to all the mastermind stuff I was doing, I missed it. So I will just download it and listen to it later. I’m sure glad Jeff is getting these recorded for us…
One of our mastermind members found a piece of software called “Conference.exe” from the website “HotConference.com”. It acts sort of like an ICQ on Steroids. It has audio, video, text-chat, whiteboarding features, web-conference modes (like a live camtasia video), and other stuff I haven’t even learned about yet. I’ve tested this out with one of my mastermind members, and it works great. Only suggestion is to use a headset that plugs into the sound card of your PC, since it seems USB-based webcams and microphones cause the audio to be “choppy”.
