Turns out, that you can’t just accept a Google Group invitation with any email address. It must be the same email address as the one used to originally send you the invitation to join the Google Group. That means, that if you don’t already have one, you need to create a Google Account using that email address. Well, that’s what I did and when I re-clicked on the original invitation email’s link, I was accepted in the group immediately. Now that the Google Group is working for all of us, we need to get the first mastermind meeting scheduled.

I was at the site exactly at 3pm CST (2pm EST) to sign up. Everything seemed to go just fine until… it rejected my credit card with a weird error. So, I quickly retried using Paypal which is backed by the exact same credit card, and lo-and-behold everything worked just great!
